Where to Stay:
I highly recommend getting an Airbnb or VRBO but as some of my refined guests have requested I will make some hotel suggestions:
Almanac x Alcron: I have not stayed in many hotels in Prague but this one is historic. I used to get very old bottles of wine here and have spent many an afternoon at the lobby bar. It is close to Wenceslas Square and my favorite cocktail bar Parlour. Also very close to Kantýna where we will first hangout for food and beer upon arrival.
Mandarin Oriental Prague: Spendy but in a beautiful part of Prague near Kampa Island and one of my favorite hangouts, Café Mlýnská.
I will be staying near Wenceslas and the Train station in the edge of Vinohrady. I am paying less than $600 for a 1bd APT for a week. I would recommend staying in an expat neighborhood like Vinohrady, Žižkov, or Letná. These are close enough via subway tram etc.
